La Sphère

The Sphere represented the main scenography element of “Le Messie du peuple chauve” - a play at Opéra Grand Avignon.
The work was a collaboration with romanian scenographer, Adrian Damian, who wanted an imposing light object for his decor.

The result was a 3.3m wide rhombicosidodecahedron, with aluminium edges and an inside layer of controllable lights made of 60 lamps. The generative visual content was then used to create different metaphorical objects to emphasise the moments of the play.
