You Are Another Me—A Cathedral of the Body
We are thrilled and honored to collaborate with artist and filmmaker Adina Pintilie, selected to represent Romania at the 59th International Venice Biennale 2022, with the project You Are Another Me—A Cathedral of the Body.
Through a multi-channel installation, the Romanian Pavilion is transformed into a contemporary cathedral that celebrates connections between bodies beyond any preconception, inviting the public to become immersed in a physical, emotional and introspective experience.
You Are Another Me—A Cathedral of the Body is a materialisation of her feature film Touch Me Not, so our team had the task to transform the teleprompters used by Adina Pintilie in the movie in something physical, visible and very present, but at the same time discrete and auxiliar to the video corpus of the work. This is how this custom robot was designed and then built, disassembled and reassembled in Venice.
The exhibition is open to the public over the course of La Biennale di Venezia, April 23 - November 27, 2022.
